At one point, I was very fortunate that, um, the CTO of our business, Tom Janowski, um, ultimately became, like, My I said my work husband and right hand partner, and it’s unusual, I think, to have the CRO right in the CTO very closely aligned. Like our CTO did it. It’s hard, but it was a long term bet, right?
Martin Roth is the former CRO of Levelset, where he led the company from its first dollar in ARR to a $500 million acquisition by Procore in 2021. He’s an advisor. I feel like from selling flip-flops to half a billion dollar acquisition by Procore feels like a pretty damn good title for this episode. I love it.
You are the customer service representative for our CRO, our CTO. So a good example I had was I remember trying to explain to the CTO that [00:21:00] we needed like a process. So I’ve, I kind of circulated all, all, and a banker as an advisor, all CEOs and founders want three things. I say it’s customer service.
